Opportunity:  Maverick Solutions is a full service Audio/Video, Home Theater, Automation/Control, and Networking design and installation company for both residential and commercial applications.  Maverick was in need of both growth capital and management help to capture additional market share and double revenue over an 18 month period.

How AMP Helped: AMP invested in an equity deal that enabled the founder to take some cash and provided the company with needed growth/working capital.  We then placed one of our partners into the management team to help focus on three key areas of improvement: Financial reporting & key metrics, Operational efficiency, and Marketing & Channel Partner development. 

Results: Opportunties that were once unpredictable and referral based have been replaced by a sustainable pipeline driven by channel partnerships and a defined marketing plan. Maverick now has a number of key strategic relationships with Builders, Designers, Architects, and Developers that continues to grow.  

To improve efficiency and scale, job descriptions and key operational workflows were defined that clarified empoloyee responsibilities and enabled performance reviews.  Accounting processes were revamped and key business metrics were defined to track performance on a real-time basis.
